The biggest celebration of seafood in the UK, the Seafood Promotion campaign focuses on promoting the many benefits of eating sustainable seafood twice a week .
The 'Seafood Fortnight' campaign has this year been replaced by an ongoing seafood promotion. This new approach to promoting seafood serves the needs of all kinds of retailers and processors directly, whilst also delivering the message “enjoy seafood twice a week” to consumers all over the UK.

The estimate is that the '2 a week' message reached 33 million consumers in June, July and August 2009.
